Zync launches Z1000 budget-tablet in India, comes with 9.7-inch display
Zync Global Private Limited, one of the popular domestic tablet manufacturer in India recently launches a new 9,7-inch tablet, Z1000. Zync Z1000 comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box and the company also promises an update to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) platform as well.
On the launch, Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited said;
“This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution with a face-unlocking feature. As of now, the product is running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months.”
The all new Zync Z1000 feature a 9.7-inch display with the resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The tablet comes with one of the impressive feature, even being a budget-friendly tablet, it comes with a SIM card slot and supports 3G connectivity as well. The tablet has 2MP camera on the rear and also features a front 0.3MP camera on the front. The Z1000 tablet is powered by 1.5GHz Cortex A8 processor along with 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the tablet comes with 8GB of internal storage and also there is a microSD card slot for expansion.
The all new Zync Z1000 has a battery of 7000mAh capacity which is sufficient for one day decent usage. The tablet also spots with a mini HDMI port and two microUSB ports for connectivity. Zync Z1000 is now available in India with the price tag of Rs.10,990 ($204 approx.), consumers can also buy the tablet through popular online Indian retailer, Flipkart.
