Yu Yureka Note with 6″ FHD display launched for Rs. 13,499

Micromax Informatics-backed Yu Televentures on Saturday announced the launch of its Yureka Note in India. The new phablet-like smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 13,499.

The Yu Yureka Note is a large screen variant of the previously launched Yureka Plus smartphone. It features a 6-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek chipset with a 1.5GHz octa-core CPU and Mali-T720 GPU.

Unlike the original Yureka, the Yureka Note doesn’t have a custom CyanogenMod. It instead runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The smartphone also comes with an enhanced security support using a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. The rear sensor has a 5-piece lens on top with F2.2 aperture, while the front sensor has an 84.4-degree FOV lens.

On the connectivity front, the Yureka Note has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. There is a 4,000mAh battery and comes with 4G LTE support. Besides, the smartphone has dual speakers with NXP smart PA technology.
