YouTube for iOS updated with new features including Send to TV

Google has recently updated the YouTube app for iOS platform, the new app packed with a bundle of new features including Send to TV, YouTube Capture and a couple of improvements.


With the all new Send to TV feature, iOS users can now stream any YouTube videos from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to any compatible smart television which has pre-loaded YouTube support. Besides TVs, the app also give an option to the users to mirror YouTube contents onto any Xbox and the PlayStation 3 after being connected manually in a paired connection. The Send to TV feature is already available on the Android platform.

Within a paired connection, Send to TV feature also gives an option to the users to use the YouTube app identically as a remote control for controlling on-screen videos on a large TV screen. Users can scroll and navigate videos through the iOS device while watching on a television screen and the app also allow users to browse internet simultaneously on the device while watching videos on a television.

The new YouTube app also comes with YouTube Capture feature which provides an ability to record and upload video to the YouTube channel right from any iOS device. In addition to the new features, the new YouTube app for iOS platform also come with a number of improvements, Google has also improved the streaming over a slow WiFi connection which enhances the useability. A number of stability improvements are also done in the new app for better experience.
