Lava International sub-brand, Xolo has just launched another smartphone, coined as Xolo X1000 during a press event in Goa. The Xolo X1000 is now be the company’s flagship smartphone powered by Intel Atom Processor Z2480. Along with the latest Xolo X500 and the Xolo X900, the all new Xolo X1000 is the third smartphone by the concern based on Intel Atom architecture.
On launching the Xolo X1000, Vishal Sehgal, Co-founder & Director, Lava International said;

The all new Xolo X1000 has a 4.7-inch HD display crafted by SHARP, the display is protected by a 2.5 D edge curved glass. The manufacturer has used the single glass technique which results sharper picture quality with decent viewing angles. Additionally, the display has 312ppi pixel density.
In terms of connectivity, the Xolo X1000 has Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and a microUSB port. The all new Xolo X1000 is powered by an Intel Atom Z2480 SoC with 2GHz Atom CPU along with Hyper-Threading technology. There is PowerVR SGX540 GPU packed along with the CPU, the graphic unit is clocked at 400MHz which is claimed to support 1080p full-HD video encoding and playback and render realistic 3D image reproduction. For multi-tasking support, the smartphone has 1GB of RAM, there is 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
The Xolo X1000 feature an 8-megapixel camera on the rear which is claimed to support full-HD video recording at 30fps. The rear camera also supports Burst Mode with 15 frames per second (FPS) support. A 1.3-megapixel camera is also available on the front for video conferencing and VoIP support. On the downside, the Xolo X1000, even being a pricier smartphone, comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system, there is also no information on the future update as well.
