Xolo Q600 with quad-core processor officially launched in India for Rs.8,999
A sub-brand of Lava International, Xolo has recently launched Xolo Q600 smartphone in India for Rs.8,999. The all new Xolo Q600 belongs to the company’s existing Qcore series and featuring a quad-core processor inside.
Xolo Q600 has a 4.5-inch TFT display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution that compresses 217ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT 6589M SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Xolo Q600 has 512MB of RAM for multitasking support and 4GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storing contents. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the rear along with an LED flash, the camera also supports HDR mode and touch focus support. A VGA camera is available on the front for VoIP and taking self portrait shots.
In terms of connectivity, Xolo Q600 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and a microUSB port. Identical to other Xolo smartphones, Xolo Q600 is a dual-SIM smartphone with dual-standby support. The smartphone comes with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box and there is pre-installed Swype keyboard for typing support and Xolo Secure app to protect the smartphone. Xolo Q600 packs with a 2000mAh battery which is claimed to provide up to 333 hours of stand by time and up to 13.4 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G.
