Xolo Prime with Android Lollipop launched in India for Rs. 5,699

Lava International sub-brand Xolo today announced the launch of the Xolo Prime in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,699 and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

The Xolo Prime features a 4.5-inch IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution. There is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. Thesmartphone has amicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 32GB.

Xolo has provided a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the rear of the Prime with an auto-focus lens and LED flash and a VGA camera sensor is available on the front. The smartphone has some imaging features like scene detection and tuning, face recognition, panorama, face beauty, geo tagging and HDR.

The smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and a microUSB port and comes along with dual-SIM 3G support. There is an 1,800mAh battery which is claimed to deliver more than a day usage on a single charge.

With black, blue, red and gold color options, the Xolo Prime will be available for purchase in the country through all authorised retail counters and modern trade outlets.
