Xolo Play Tab 7.0 Android tablet launched in India, powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3

Xolo Play Tab 7.0 tablet officially launched in India as Xolo’s first Tegra-powered tablet. With NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor inside, Xolo Play Tab 7.0 features a 7-inch display and it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

On launching Xolo Play Tab 7.0, Sunil Raina, Business Head, Xolo said;

“As Xplo continues to deliver on its promise to bring differentiated technology to discerning consumers, we’re replicating the success we’ve achieved in the smartphone category now in tablets. XOLO Play Tab 7.0 marks the first tablet in the Xolo Play category of products, powered by NVIDIA Tegra. Similar to Xolo Play T1000 smartphone launched in July, the Tab delivers similar entertainment now on a bigger 7-inch screen.”

Xolo Play Tab 7.0 has a 7-inch IPS display with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU and 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB internal storage along with microSD card support. The tablet has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for VoIP and self-portrait shots.

In terms of connectivity, Xolo Play Tab 7.0 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and a USB 2.0 port. The tablet is a part Xolo Play lineup, as an addition to the earlier launched Xolo Play T1000 smartphone, which is designed for the gamers. The tablet packed with a non-removable 4000mAh battery for which the company claims 8 hours of music playback.

Xolo Play Tab 7.0 is now available for purchase through several retail stores across India with the price tag of Rs. 12,999. Apart from Xolo Play Tab 7.0, Xolo is also in partnership with NVIDIA to sell Xolo Tegra Note tablet with Tegra 4 processor in the country.
