Xiaomi Mi3 stock sold out in India within 2.4 seconds, next sale begin on August 19
As the stock of Xiaomi Mi3 came back today on Flipkart, a large number of its customers in India were in anticipation to get a chance on buying the affordable smartphone. But this time, the entire stock of 20,000 Mi3 smartphones completely sold out within 2.4 seconds.

Indian e-commerce giant and exclusive Xiaomi sales partner Flipkart will start taking pre-registrations for the next batch of the Mi3 from 6pm today. The sale for the fifth batch of the Mi3 smartphone will begin at 2pm on August 19 and will require pre-registration before placing order on the online marketplace.
Beijing-based Xiaomi came into the Indian market with its Mi3 smartphone in July. The company started the first sale of the Mi3 through Flipkart on July 22 but the entire stock went off in about 39 minutes. The next two batches seen even more overwhelming response from the Indian customers as the stock was sold out within 5 seconds and 2 seconds, respectively.
With today’s sale, Xiaomi has sold total 55,000 units of its Mi3 smartphone in India since its launch on July 15. Though the sales figure are far less than the sales result of leading smartphone vendors in the Indian market, the popularity of the Mi3 smartphone is growing at a faster pace than most of the other mid-range smartphones.
Apart from the Mi3, Xiaomi is set to sell its Redmi 1S and Redmi Note smartphones in India in the coming weeks. These two smartphones could get even more focus from the Indian customers than the Mi3 as they will be available under Rs. 10,000 price bracket.
Moreover, the Chinese company is set to widen its service network in the country to provide fast after sales service alongside online sale of its Mi smartphones.
