Xender, one of the popular file transfer apps for mobile devices, has announced that it has surpassed the benchmark of 170 million users in India. The app is now covering 50 percent of the total file transfer app space in the country and has marked an annual growth rate of over 100 percent.
With the new numbers, Xender app has emerged as a fast-growing mobile sharing tool. It was already rivaling Lenovo’s Shareit, which is currently leading the world of file transfer apps.
“India is an extremely critical market for us with file transfer volume scaling 1.7 million,” says Peter Jiang, founder of Xender app, in a press statement. “With maximum user base in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata, Xender is extremely popular in metro cities and northern India.”
Xender app presently has about 500 million cumulative global users. Jiang said that his team is targeting to expand this worldwide base by attaining 800 million users over the next three years.
New logo to match this festive season
In addition to reaching the new milestone in India, Xender has received a new logo to influence Indian users on this festive season. The fresh logo treatment brings the company’s vibrant and dynamic spirit in addition to hues of orange.
Xender app offers seamless transmission of data between multiple devices based on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows and Mac OS. It comes in 12 India dialects and supports over 22 worldwide languages. Moreover, the app is claimed to deliver cross-platform transferring of data with over 200 times Bluetooth transfer speed.
