Vu Technologies today expanded its television lineup by launching its two new curved UHD TV sets in India. Alongside the curved TV models, the US company has brought its limited edition premium UHD TVs to the country.

The new Vu TV range includes a 55″ luxury curved UHD TV with a price tag of Rs. 1,00,000 and 65″ curved UHD TV for Rs. 1,80,00. The premium range, on the other hand, brings a 65″ premium UHD TV at Rs. 1,56,000 and 75″ UHD TV for Rs. 3,00,000.

“Our revolutionary UHD TV series and the advanced Curve TV undoubtedly are category defining products in their own right,” said Devita Saraf, CEO and design head, Vu Technologies, in a statement. “There are no competing products in the industry, with similar features or price points. Discerning consumers who are looking for an all-inclusive techno-luxurious experience in one television set, the latest range of TVs from Vu’s product stable is the ultimate answer.”

The curved Vu Smart TV models sport 4K (UHD), A+ grade display panel and come equipped with quad-core CPUs, onboard GPUs and nScreen features. Likewise, the premium TV sets have four processing cores and all new smart chip.

Vu has additionally provided its Pixelight HDR technology on the premium UHD TVs and ultra-dimming feature. The TVs come with an ultra-slim, brushed steel and carbon weave design.

California-based Vu Technologies is claimed to be the largest online TV seller in India with over 35,000 models sold each day in 2015. The company has 22 unique SKUs for the Indian market to counter leading players like Samsung, Sony and LG.

“We have had 350 percent year-over-year growth since 2013 aiming for a turnover of Rs. 600 crore in 2016-17. With the launch of our new portfolio and much more in the pipeline, we are confident of achieving that goal within the stipulated time frame,” Saraf added.
