Twitter-owned Vine today updated Vine for Windows Phone to version 2.5.0.0. The updated app has brought certain new features that make it closer to its Android and iOS counterparts.

The updated Vine for Windows Phone has new editing tools that allows users to edit their vine in an easier way than ever before. These new tools let users edit vines by rearranging their clips or deleting some unwanted ones. In addition, there is an option to enable users to easily import videos directly from their camera roll by tapping the new icon from the bottom left corner of the capture screen.

The app now also supports draft storage. This means that users can now save their edited vines as drafts to add new clips in the future and make them more interesting to share on the network.

Vine has also added Vine Messages (VMs) to the updated Vine for Windows Phone to make the app similar to any instant messaging platform. Users need to tap the new Messages icon at the top right to send a VM to their friends and can also read new messages from the same screen. Likewise, there is also an option to send text messages directly from the app.

Apart from new editing tools and VMs, the updated Vine for Windows Phone has loop counts. This was initially a part of its Android and iOS versions but now users on Windows Phone can also use loop counts to see how many times people have watched their shared vines.
