Vertu is the luxurious brand in the world of mobile devices and the company, after leaving Nokia, chooses Android for their latest Ti smartphone. Vertu Ti, being a luxurious smartphone comes with a starting price tag of €7,900 (Rs.5.7L approx.). For the specs concern people, the Ti smartphone does not have any impressive feature but the company has worked on the looks more than the specifications which makes the smartphone aristocratic in the world of high-end smartphones.
On launching Vertu Ti, Perry Oosting, Vertu’s president and chief executive, said;
“VERTU TI is our most significant product for a decade. Android 4.0 delivers a proven and intuitive environment for users while the design and craftsmanship of the handset remains uniquely Vertu. Vertu has pioneered and led the luxury mobile phone sector since we began in the late 90s and the great depth of our knowledge and experience can be seen in VERTU TI. There is nothing else like it.”
On the specifications part, the all new Vertu Ti has a 3.7-inch sapphire crystal display which is packed in the titanium casing and sapphire crystal makes the display scratch-proof as well. The Ti is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM for decent multi-tasking capabilities. The smartphone also comes with quite-massive 64GB internal storage but the presence of a microSD card slot is a mystery till now.
Vertu Ti comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system out of the box and all the Google services including Gmail, Google+, Maps, Navigation, Street View, Google Play Store, Google Play Music, Google Drive cloud storage and YouTube come pre-installed. For photography, the Ti has an 8-megapixel camera on the rear along with dual LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel camera is also available on the front for video conferencing and chatting purposes. In terms of connectivity, Vertu Ti has Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS and a microUSB port for data syncing and charging.
For crystal clear sound experience, Vertu Ti feature symphonic sound tuned in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen and the company has used powerful stereo drivers to produce high-quality sound for the luxurious smartphone.
Coming towards the designing of Vertu Ti, the smartphone feature handmade designing from England, each smartphone designed by single craftsman with a combination 184 different parts and signature of the craftsman are also available on the smartphone. The casing of the Ti is made of grade 5 titanium and the company claims that the titanium casing of the smartphone is nearly five times more stronger than any other smartphone available today.

Vertu Ti comes in four editions, while the starting Titanium Black Leather edition cost €7,900, the Titanium Pure Black, the Titanium Black Alligator and the Black PVD Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals of course enough to empty all your bank accounts.
On the luxurious part, Vertu Ti is only available at 500 retail outlets globally and the smartphone will be available in the US with the starting price of $9,600 and the Ti will debut in the European market with the starting price of €7,900. Both the markets will get the Ti at anytime during the present month.
