Sony today launched the Xperia Z3 Plus in India at a press conference in New Delhi. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 55,990 and is available as an upgraded version to the last year launched Xperia Z3.

Originally announced last month, the Sony Xperia Z3 Plus is slimmer with 6.9mm and lighter with 144 grams than the design aesthetics of the Xperia Z3. The smartphone has IP65/68-certified design that makes it a waterproof and dustproof device. In addition, the company has used tempered glass panel on its front and back along with an aluminium frame to enhance looks.

The Xperia Z3 Plus has a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD) resolution. The company has additionally used its Triluminos display technology with X-Reality engine and there is Adaptive Display feature to enhance image production on the smartphone.
