Sony launches new mobile projector that can mirror your smartphone screen wirelessly
Sony today announced the launch of the MP-CL1 portable mobile projector in India. The new projector is capable of mirroring on-screen content from your smartphone.
The new Sony MP-CL1 projector uses a proprietary Laser Beam Scanning technology to project content in HD (1920 x 720) resolution with a high contrast ratio of 80,000:1. It creates a screen size of up to 120 inches through a distance of 3.45 metres and comes equipped with a speaker to fulfill mobile entertainment and business presentation needs.
Sony has provided built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and a preloaded Screen Mirroring feature. This combination enables the projector to mirror content from mobile devices. Also, the projector has an HDMI port and an MHL support to let you beam content from your PC, tablet or smartphone.
Unlike most of the other mobile projectors, the MP-CL1 has manual keystone correction to let you adjust the screen uniformity — both vertically and horizontally. The projector sports an aluminium design with matte finish and packs a 3,400mAh rechargeable battery that allows up to 120 minutes of HD resolution playback. Besides, there is reverse charging option to let you charge your smartphone with the projector.
