One of the popular VoIP client on Apple devices, Skype for iOS recently updated with unlimited video messaging support. Skype has finally added unlimited video messaging support for free. Earlier users needed a subscription to Skype Premium for a monthly fee of $4.99 (on annual basis) to get unlimited video messaging support.
Skype for iOS allows users to record a video message for up to 3 minutes and send to the contacts. Now users can send and receive unlimited video messages which was earlier restricted to 20 free messages. Besides free unlimited video messaging, the new Skype for iOS has several stability improvements in audio and video calling support. The accessibility of video messaging within the app is also improved with an ease to the end-user. Greater reliability is now added for sharing photos and also several bug fixes.
Users can now update the new Skype app on their iOS devices by visiting Apple App Store. Earlier this month, Skype had announced video messaging support out of its beta stage for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac and BlackBerry.
