Samsung to unveil new series of Smart TV in CES 2013, teaser video now up
Samsung, one of the popular manufacturer in consumer electronics, all set to unveil a new series of Smart TV during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 at Las Vegas, US. The Korean giant already started teasing with a teaser video promoting the upcoming Smart TV and video also says a tagline as, “All the TVs are rushing to see Samsung’s new TV”.
Samsung upcoming Smart TVs will have new user interface as Smart Hub which adds new smarter experience right to the so-called idiot box. Samsung already shown some Smart TVs this year, however, the upcoming Smart TV lineup will have new tweaks to make television more smarter.
Samsung Smart TV with Smart Hub interface added support for browsing live videos and surf internet along with support for apps, movies and even watch movies via some pre-installed apps. Samsung is also expected to add new version of ChatOn 2.0 in the Smart TVs and some internal sources also suggests that the instant messaging app by Samsung will work across 200 countries in 60 languages.
Besides ChatOn 2.0, some popular social networking channels as Facebook, Twitter and Weibo for China users will be added in the upcoming series of Smart TVs.

The new Smart Hub interface will feature five categories in a single screen as ‘On TV’ for live TV, ‘Movies & TV Shows’ based on Video On Demand (VOD) contents, ‘Apps’ for various applications, ‘Social’ for SNS contents sharing function, ‘ Photos, Videos & Music’ for personal contents.
Samsung Smart Hub will also add a new function in the Smart TVs as ‘Flipping’ function which allow users to browse through the five screens with motion control function, similar to the flipping pages on a book. Users can use Smart TV with Smart Hub integration to watch live TV, movies, internet, apps and even for playing games.
