Samsung going to launch ‘the newest Galaxy’ on January 22 in India, invites out
Samsung India is all set to launch ‘the newest Galaxy’ at a press event in India, the event is going to take place on January 22nd, tomorrow. Reports are already up in the air that the Galaxy Grand or the Galaxy S III mini or even both will be the smartphones to be launched in the event, though the invite does not suggest anything distinctly.
The suggested reports by several sources are seems to be true as both the Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy S III mini officially announced months ago but till now both Galaxy series smartphones are not available in the Indian market. On the other part, the suggestion also inclines more towards the Galaxy Grand as the smartphone is the ‘newest’ among the both. We are of course be there to join the event, so stay tuned for update.
In case one does not know much about the Galaxy Grand, the smartphone announced in the month of December, last year, feature an impressive 5-inch display with WVGA resolution which produces 187ppi pixel density. The Galaxy Grand more resembles as the Android flagship, the Galaxy S III and the smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone also feature an 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash and there is a 2MP camera on the front. There is 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion. The Galaxy Grand comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system and the smartphone also come in a dual-SIM version model number as GT-I9082.
Moving towards the Galaxy S III mini, the smartphone is a mini version of the company’s latest Android flagship, Galaxy S III. The Galaxy S III mini was announced globally in the month of October with 4.0-inch WVGA resolution display. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. On the rear, the smartphone has a 5MP camera with an LED flash and on front, there is a VGA camera. The Galaxy S III mini comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box.
