Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211, 310 and 311 tablets launched in India

Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab 3 lineup in India with Galaxy Tab 3 211, 310 and 311 tablets. The lineup features 7-inch and 8-inch display sizes and originally known as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. These tablets will be available in Wi-Fi only and 3G + Wi-Fi variants in the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 was originally announced as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 in April. The tablet has a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600p resolution and comes with an older Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system along with TouchWiz Nature UX on the top. There is a dual-core 1.2GHz processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM. For storing contents, the tablet has 8GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. A 3-megapixel camera sensor is available on the rear with auto-focus and a 1.3-megapixel camera sensor is available on the front. The tablet has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, Infrared and a microUSB port in terms connectivity. The Galaxy Tab 3 211 also supports 3G connectivity using any normal-sized SIM card. The Galaxy Tab 3 211 is having a price tag of Rs.17,749.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 310 and 311 was originally announced as Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 in May. Both the tablets are same in terms of specifications and designing, except the fact that the Galaxy Tab 3 310 has Wi-Fi only connectivity while the Galaxy Tab 3 311 has 3G + Wi-Fi connectivity. The Galaxy Tab 3 310 and 311 feature an 8-inch display with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The tablet runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system with TouchWiz Nature UX on the top. The tablet is powered by an Exynos 4212 chipset with dual-core 1.5GHz CPU along with Mali 400 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB. The tablet has a 5-megapixel camera on the rear along with an LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel camera is available on the front. There is Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Infrared and a microUSB port available in both the versions. The Galaxy Tab 3 310 (Wi-Fi only) is priced at Rs.21,945 and the Galaxy Tab 3 311 (3G+Wi-Fi) is having a price tag of Rs.25,725.

Samsung has provided its MyServices app in all the three tablets and as an introductory offer, the company is offering free download of contents of worth Rs.20,000 through MyServices. All the three tablets will be available for purchase from this Sunday. On the part of bundled data network, Samsung has partnered with Vodafone to offer 2GB of free 3G data with the 3G version Galaxy Tab 3, for the first two months from purchase.
