As earlier reported, Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A (SHV-E330S) officially announced on SK Telecom in South Korea. Samsung has partnered with the Korean telecom operator SK Telecom which will provide LTE-A network service for the new Galaxy S4 LTE-A. The new LTE-A network is claimed to provide 10 times faster data speed than usual 3G network.
Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A has identical designing of the original Galaxy S4 flagship. The new Galaxy S4 LTE-A runs on a different chiipset which provides LTE-A support for up to 150Mbps speed. Samsung has used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC within the Galaxy S4 LTE-A. The Galaxy S4 LTE-A has three types of frequency bands as LTE-A (850/1800), WCDMA (1900/2100) and GSM (900/1800/1900).
Rest of the specifications are the same as the original Galaxy S4, there is a 5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 32GB internal storage and a 2600mAh battery which is claimed to provide up to 320 hours of standby time on an LTE network. Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A measures 136.6 × 69.8 × 7.9 mm and weighs 131 grams. The smartphone will be available in two color options as Arctic Blue and Red Aurora.
