Amid the conflict over latest phablet model, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy On Nxt as its newest affordable option to take on various Chinese offerings. The new smartphone comes at a price of Rs. 18,490 and sports a unibody metal design.
The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is certainly not as premium as the ill-fated Note 7. However, it has a high-end metal build with 2.5D glass Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone also has a 5.5-inch 1080p (full=HD) display and a 1.6GHz octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
The aluminium unibody constructions of the Galaxy On Nxt makes it a considerable option against some of the latest Chinese models like the Lenovo Z2 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 5. Also, the Korean giant has provided Android Marshmallow with its features such as My Galaxy, S Power Planning and S Secure modes.
The Galaxy On Nxt has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/1.9 lens and an 8-megapixel front camera sensor. It comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a USB 2.0 support. Notably, the smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor to match its competitors.
Unlike many mid-range options, the new Galaxy smartphone does not have a hybrid dual-SIM support. Instead, the smartphone comes equipped with a separate microSD card slot alongside a duo SIM tray that supports two nano SIM cards at once.
The smartphone packs a 3,300mAh battery and has 4G support. It will go on sale in India starting October 24 through Flipkart.
