Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 launches in India

Samsung Mobile India organised an event in India to launch its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 10.1 aka Note 800. TechOne3 team post a report on the worldwide release of the device in US few days before and now Samsung is all set to make this device available in India. Samsung put a price tag of Rs.39990($720 approx.) for the WiFi version in India but the official Samsung e-store is selling the Note 800 for Rs.38,500($693 approx.), the company also offers this device on zero per cent EMI finance option. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a bigger version of Galaxy Note N7000(a 5 incher phablet). Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 10.1 inches PLS TFT Display, having resolution of 1280x800pixels comes with an S Pen, mutitouch support, powered by 1.4GHz Quad Core processor packs with Mali-400MP GPU on Exynos 4412 Quad chipset which is same on Samsung Galaxy S III I9300. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with Android 4.0(ICS) out of the box and a unique S Pen that makes it different among its competitors.

Samsung is also going to launch a sequel of Galaxy Note N7000 in this month, so let’s wait and watch the specs of that device too. On the launching event in New Delhi, Samsung’s country Head for mobile and IT business, Rajeev Yadav said;

“India is one of the first 10 markets in the world where the Galaxy Note 800 is being launched. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 800, Samsung provides a unique user experience that goes beyond passive content consumption to a new world of productivity, active creation and personalized communications. While the S pen offers both active content creation and passive content creation, the Multi screen capability finally enables true multitasking. I expect this device to in many ways to fuel the growth of the tablet market in India and help us further strengthen our market leadership in the tablet market here in India.”

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with My Education app that is pre-embedded in the device, through which students can access up to 10,000 e-content videos in sync with Indian curriculum. We are much excited about this device, soon we are going to review this device.
