Samsung has recently announced Galaxy Duos (I8262), a new smartphone in their lineup for Chinese market. The Galaxy Duos feature a 4.3-inch TFT display with WVGA resolution and the smartphone is going to be available only in the Chinese market. The Galaxy Duos comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, as the name suggests, there are two SIM card slots for dual SIM support.
The Galaxy Duos does not have high-end specs but the smartphone will capture a number of shares in the mid-range smartphones segment in the Chinese market. The Galaxy Duos is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with there is 768MB of RAM. The smartphone has a 5MP camera on the rear with an LED flash, on the downside, there is no camera on the front. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Duos has Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0. The Galaxy Duos packs with a 1700mAh battery and there is 4GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion.

The Galaxy Duos is soon going to be available in the Chinese market. We are sure that the smartphone is not going to be launched in other regions as the Galaxy S Duos is already available in the global market with some identical features, however, there is a smaller 4-inch display and a less-powerful single-core 1GHz processor.
