Samsung launches curved gaming monitors in India
Samsung has launched its curved gaming monitors in India. The new offerings are touted to be India’s first curved gaming monitors and are designed to deliver an immersive experience to Indian gamers.
Based on Samsung’s Quantum Dot picture technology, the LC24FG70 and LC27FG70 monitors have a radius of 1800mm. The monitors come with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms moving picture response time to play most of the high-end titles without any flaw.
Samsung has integrated AMD FreeSync technology into HDMI connectivity on both of its curved monitors to synchronise their refresh rate with AMD graphics cards. This is minimises image tearing, input latency and stutter. Additionally, the monitors have 3000:1 contrast ratio along with light and dark settings.
The monitors have compatibility with FPS, RTS, RPG and AOS genres. Also, these have dedicated hotkeys on the front and back of the display panel to enable easy adjustments during gameplay.

The Samsung LC24FG70 will be available in India with a price tag of Rs. 35,000, while the LC27FG70 will go on sale for Rs. 42,000. Both are claimed to be undergone through rigorous pre-shipment factory calibration that optimises settings such as contrast ratios, black gamma levels and white balance levels.
