NVIDIA introduces GeForce GTX 760 GPU, starting at Rs.19,499

NVIDIA has introduced GeForce GTX 760 GPU globally. The GeForce GTX 760 is claimed to offer extreme frame rates which supports high-end games including Call of Duty: Ghosts, Watch Dogs and Battlefield 4. In India, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU will be available at the starting price of Rs.19,499 ($249 in US).

On announcing NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU, Scott Herkelman, General Manager of the GeForce GPU business at NVIDIA said;

The all new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU is designed on the NVIDIA Kepler architecture. The graphic processor is designed to provide up to 2.3 gigaflops of processing horsepower which is claimed to be more than the upcoming gaming consoles including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For overclocking support and further custom settings, the GeForce GTX 760 has NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology which appropriates the temperature while increasing the clock speed. The technology also has an extra over-voltage headroom and optimizations for advanced water-cooling solutions.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU comes with GeForce Experience software and NVIDIA ShadowPlay software for smooth gaming experience out of the box. Targeting on hardcore gamers, the GPU has NVIDIA PhysX physics engine NVIDIA TXAA anti-aliasing. On comparing with the previous versions, the GeForce GTX 760 GPU is three times faster than GeForce GTX 275 GPU and twice faster than the GeForce GTX 560 GPU.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU is now available through leading add-in card suppliers including Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and Zotac.
