BlueStacks App Player is one of the renowned solution to play Android games and run apps on Windows and Mac ecosystem and the company is now moving forward to add support for the latest PC operating system, Microsoft Windows 8 as well. Recently BlueStacks has released a Surface Pro-optimized version of the popular App Player software which enables to run Android apps on the Windows 8 based tablets and other devices.
Besides the Windows 8 support, the company has also announced a new website as GetYourAppsBack which provide the BlueStacks software optimised for Windows 8 operating system and also give an option to directly download all the Android apps right to any Windows 8 based device. Additionally, Surface Pro and Windows 8 users can also download all the apps earlier available on their Android smartphones to their Windows 8 devices.
On the announcement of revamped BlueStacks software and the website, BlueStacks CEO, Rosen Sharma said;
“We’ve had our users asking for a Win8 version for a long time. Now that it’s finally available on our website we’re looking forward to getting feedback and building on the experience. The number of mobile apps being written overall is expanding exponentially and Microsoft has not added apps to the handful it has. Our goal is to get people more value out of their Surface Pro and Win8 devices.”
On the announcement of BlueStacks for Windows 8 platform, the company also claimed that the App Player software has passed over 5 million downloads across Mac and PC.
Well, now users will not hesitate in purchasing a new Windows 8 device due to lack of app support as the BlueStacks App Player can run all the Android apps and games on to any Windows 8 based device. While the Windows 8 Store only have a small number of apps, about 35,000 apps supported for Microsoft Surface Pro. Users can now enjoy much larger app support of about 750,000+ Android applications on their Surface tablets, using BlueStacks App Player.
