Nokia Lumia 620 preview
Nokia Lumia 620 is the mid-range smartphone by the Finnish manufacturer. The Lumia 620 is yet to be available in market but the smartphone already gain much popularity even before the availability. The tiny-little Lumia 620 feature impressive colorful looks and the company has designed the smartphone to compete all the mid-range player in the smartphone market globally. Even being a mid-range smartphone, the Lumia 620 shares some identical features as the Lumia 820 and even the Lumia 920. Our team have recently previewed the Lumia 620 at the time of announcement in India, so without consuming more words, let’s start the hands on preview.
Nokia Lumia 620 shares identical designing concept as the one found on the Lumia 820. It has an option to choose multiple colorful exchangeable covers and internally the smartphone is built of plastic construction. Although Nokia uses plastic in the Lumia 620 and the Lumia 820, still the plastic is of good quality which give solid feel and maintain the weight of both the smartphones. The Lumia 620 feature a 3.8-inch TFT display, well the screen size is tiny for today’s scenario but helps in maintaining the cost of the smartphone. As usual, the Lumia 620 has three capacitive touch keys on the bottom as back, home and search. And above the display, there is an earpiece along with a secondary VGA camera and a proximity sensor, however, we assume that there is no ambient light sensor for auto-adjustment of the brightness.
On moving towards the side of the Lumia 620, the smartphone give a unique curvy design with 11mm thickness. The exchangeable shell feature two-color layer design which enhances the looks of the smartphone. On the left, there is no controls as on the elder Lumias and on the right, there is a volume rocker, power/lock button and a camera button.
On the top of the frame, there is a 3.5mm jack and a secondary microphone and on the bottom, there is a microUSB port along with a primary microphone. Turning the Lumia 620 towards back shows a 5MP camera along with an LED flash and there is a loudspeaker grill present near on the corner-bottom. The back of the Lumia 620 give impressive glossy finishing and sturdy looks.
On taking out the exchangeable shell, there is a 1300 mAh battery and the microSD card slot is also present inside. The microSIM card tray is situated under the battery.
