Nokia Asha 310 now launched in India for Rs.5,601

Nokia Asha 310 feature phone was announced last month as the first Wi-Fi enabled Asha phone with dual-SIM support. Now the phone is officially launched in India with the price tag of Rs.5,601. All the Indian consumers can purchase the Asha 310 from Nokia Store with the same price tag, however, other online retailers including Snapdeal and Saholic offer at lower prices of Rs.5,491 and Rs.5,499, respectively.

Nokia Asha 310 phone has a 3-inch display with 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA) resolution, for input, there is capacitive touch support. The phone comes with dual-SIM support along with Nokia’s own ‘Easy Swap’ feature which allow users to change the SIM without powering off the phone.

The Asha 310 phone has a 2-megapixel camera on the rear and the phone runs on Series 40 Asha platform. In terms of connectivity, the Asha 310 has Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, GPS and a microUSB port. The phone supports 2G connectivity with EDGE/GPRS support. For storage, the Asha 310 has 20MB of internal storage along with a microSD card support, the phone also comes with a microSD within the retail box.

As far the app support is concerned, the Asha 310 feature a number of pre-loaded apps including Facebook, Twitter and eBuddy apps for social networking connectivity. As an addition, Nokia is also offering 40 free game titles from EA such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed The Run and Fifa 2012.
