Nokia Asha 310 announced with dual-SIM and Wi-Fi support

Nokia has just announce a new Asha phone, named as the Asha 310, the phone is the first ever Nokia Asha series device with both dual-SIM and Wi-Fi support. The Asha 310 dual-SIM phone supports Nokia’s Easy Swap Dual SIM technology which enables easy swapping of SIM cards from one network to other without switching off the phone.

The all new Asha 310 is quite identical to the Asha 309, the phone has 3-inch full-touch LCD display with scratch-proof coating on the top. The Asha 310 has impressive battery life of up to 17 hours talk-time or up to 25 days on standby from a single charge. The phone also has a 2-megapixel camera on the rear and Nokia is providing 2GB or 4GB microSD card within the box to expand the 20MB internal storage.

A bunch of pre-loaded apps also come out of the box with the Asha 310, including YouTube player, Facebook, Twitter, eBuddy and email support. The Asha 310 also come with Nokia Maps and Nokia Nearby web app to provide navigation on the move. Users can also install more apps from the Nokia store and 40 EA game titles are also offered free with the phone.

The Asha 310 comes in three color options as Black, White and Gold. Nokia Asha 310 will be available in Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa and Brazil from the first quarter of the present year with expected price tag of about $102 (Rs.5.5K approx.).
