Motorola X Phone to have 4.8-inch display and Snapdragon 800 SoC, launch expected in November
Google and Motorola are working on a combined project which is buzzed as X Phone. As we have reported earlier, the smartphone is designed to compete the other players in the smartphones arena. Now some specifications of the new Motorola X Phone revealed in detail along with the launching schedule expectations.
According to a tipster reported at PhoneArena, the rumoured Motorola X Phone will have 4.8-inch display, protected with a sapphire glass which is claimed to be three times tougher than the popular Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is reported to have rubber bumpers on the edges and solid rear with carbon fiber construction. The X Phone is suspiciously be a rugged smartphone with some certifications of water resistance as well. In terms of performance, the X Phone will have a quad-core 2GHz CPU packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and for power, there will be a 4000mAh battery.
Some sources also suggested earlier that the upcoming Motorola’s flagship, the X Phone would have a 5-megapixel camera on the front which would also likely to have an identical feature as the recent trending smart scroll with eye recognition. A 16-megapixel camera sensor manufactured by Nikon is also buzzed for the rear side of the smartphone which also support full-HD (1080p) video recording. As Google supporting the project, it is also expected that the X Phone smartphone would run on Android Key Lime Pie, the upcoming platform in the series.
Well, these are still buzzes as neither Google nor Motorola commented officially on the X Phone project. But the tech world is still believing that Google, along with Motorola will introduce a new smartphone till the end of this year.
