Motorola RAZR D1 and RAZR D3 smartphones announced, coming to Brazil

Motorola has recently announced two new smartphones in their RAZR lineup, these are coined as RAZR D1 and RAZR D3 and running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box. Both the smartphones will be launched in the Brazilian market in the coming days, however, the availability in other markets is yet to be revealed by the concern.

On announcing the RAZR D1 and RAZR D3, Renato Arradi, product manager, Motorola Mobility Brazil said;

“The newest RAZR family members come with everything you expect from cutting-edge, Android 4.1-powered smartphones except the high prices. And with a guaranteed upgrades to the next Android version, they’re going to stay on the cutting edge.”

Both the smartphones, Motorola RAZR D1 and the RAZR D3 will come in two variants as single-SIM version and dual-SIM version. Motorola has used BSI (Back Side Illumination) technology in both the smartphones which help in taking dark shots and there is HDR (High Dynamic Range) also available for impressive results.

Starting with the RAZR D1, the smartphone has a 3.5-inch display and it is powered by a 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory which is also expandable using a microSD card of up to 32GB storage. The smartphone packs with a 1785mAh battery.

Coming towards the RAZR D3, the smartphone feature a 4-inch display, protected with Gorilla Glass and there is a larger 2000mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is also expandable using a microSD card.

Motorola RAZR D1 costs 549 Brazilian Real (Rs.15.1K approx.) while the RAZR D3 come with the price tag of 799 Brazilian Real (Rs.22K approx.). Both these smartphones will have two color options as Black and White.
