Motorola Moto X press shot leaks, purported specifications detailed

Motorola Moto X is now just few days away as the official release date confirmed recently. But in the meanwhile, it’s a time for some leaks. Today we are having a leaked press shot of the upcoming Motorola Moto X and some purported specifications also detailed.

The all new Motorola Moto X already seen in the hand of Eric Schmidt and few hour back, we have also spotted the smartphone in the Motorola’s event invite. Now the press shot of the upcoming Moto X leaked courtesy theUnlockr through the popular leaked source, @evleaks. The leaked press shot shows us a similar designed Moto X which spotted in a couple of reports back. The leaked press shot of the smartphone states that there is curvy design adopted along with probably Kevlar as material at the rear.

The front designing is somehow identical to the Nexus 4 with curved edges and absence of physical keys. A couple of sensors and a camera sensor available at the either sides of the earpiece. The rear is humped outward and camera sensor is available along with an LED flash bulb. Motorola logo is situated at the rear-center. Out of the box, the smartphone seems to have a honeycomb-textured rear but as rumoured before, some customized backplates also expected to be available soon after the announcement.

On the part of specifications, the Android centric blog, AndroidPolice has reported some purported specifications of the smartphone. According to the buzz, there is a 4.7-inch display with 720p (HD) resolution, out of which, there is 4.5-inch area remain for the usage as virtual buttons on the screen are also occupying some space. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm S4 Pro MSM8960DT chipset with dual-core 1.7GHz CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage with 12GB user accessible space, still no word on the external microSD card support. A 10.5-megapixel camera sensor is available on the rear and a 2.1-megapixel camera is available on the rear. On the downside, the smartphone comes with Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box as per the rumoured specifications, while the Android 4.3 iteration is also soon going to be released. The smartphone also supports NFC connectivity.

The source has also revealed some benchmark results of Motorola Moto X. On AnTuTu, the smartphone purportedly scored 18-19K and 7100 scored on 3DMark Ice Storm Extreme. The scores are impressive considering the specifications and we believe that the smartphone would have an affordable price tag with sufficient performance.
