Motorola is set to launch the Moto X Force in India on February 1. The smartphone was unveiled in October last year with a shatterproof display.
To announce the launch, Motorola has sent out invites to media for a two-day event starting February 1. The invite features an image of the Moto X Force to confirm the launch.
“Screen breaks cause heartbreaks across the world. We at Motorola understand that and are bringing to India a phone that will take away your worst fear, and never let you down! Come witness the launch of a phone that is ‘tough enough to love you back’,” the invite reads.
The Motorola Moto X Force sports ShatterShield display with a shatterproof glass protection on top. It has a 5.4-inch AMOLED panel with 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) resolution and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with a 2GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 430 GPU.
The smartphone comes in 32GB and 64GB storage options along with microSD card support of up to 2TB. It has a 21-megapixel rear camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash and F2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor with an LED flash.
Motorola has provided Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system on the Moto X Force. But the smartphone is also upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is a 3,760mAh battery with Turbo charging and Qi wireless charging support. Besides, the smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, microUSB port and 4G LTE support.

Motorola has not yet revealed any details about the price and availability of the Moto X Force in India. However, it was announced with a starting price of $624 that translates to around Rs. 41,000.
