After much awaiting, Microsoft finally launches the Office 2013 along with the Office 365 globally. While the Office 365 offers cloud solution for the documents on multiple PCs, the Office 2013 offer complete office solution for one single PC. The pricing of the both version revealed officially, while the Office 365 Home Premium version priced at Rs.420 ($9.99) per month or Rs.4,199 ($99.99) per year, the Office Home & Student 2013 starts at Rs.5,499 ($139.99).
The all new Office 365 Home Premium version provides full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access on up to 5 PCs or Macs. As the service also provide cloud solution for storage, Microsoft also giving additional 20 GB of SkyDrive storage for storing, editing or sharing of documents over the cloud.
If the user needs a complete office solution, then one have to pay more for the Office 2013 versions. There are three versions available under the Office 2013 as, Home & Student, Home & Business and Professional. The Office Home & Student 2013 costs Rs 5,499 ($139.99) which includes full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote with one single PC license. The Office Home & Business 2013 costs Rs.13,499 ($219.99) with full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote, only valid for one PC. And the last one, the Office Professional 2013 is priced at Rs.24,999 ($399.99) for one single PC, it give full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher. On the positive side, all the three Office 2013 versions are also integrated with SkyDrive cloud storage.
Users can even purchase individual Office applications according to their preferences. Starting with the low-cost, the OneNote is available for Rs 4,809 ($69.99), while Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Publisher costs Rs 6,749 ($109.99) for each application. The license on these applications are also valid only for one single PC.
