Indian smartphone vendor Micromax has launched Bolt A61 as its new smartphone today. Micromax Bolt A61 comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 and features a 4-inch display.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system running Micromax Bolt A61 has a 4-inch TFT display with 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7710 chipset with a 1GHz single-core CPU and 256MB of RAM. There is 512MB internal storage along with microSD card support. For taking pictures, the Bolt A61 has a 2-megapixel camera on the rear with an LED flash and a VGA camera is available on the front.
In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. The smartphone has dual-SIM support with dual-standby technology. There is a 1500mAh battery for which the company claims standby time of up to 160 hours and talk time of up to 3.5 hours.
Apart from stock Android experience, the smartphone comes with a number of pre-installed apps such as Hike, Opera, Spuul, Game HUB, Kingsoft Office and M! Live.
