LG launches Super UHD TV range in India with starting price of Rs. 2,94,900

LG today announced that it has launched its Super UHD TV range in India that WebOS 2.0 out of the box. The new range comes in 79-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch screen sizes and carries a starting price of Rs. 2,94,900.

The LG’s Super UHD TV range features 4K In-Plane Switching (IPS) display panel with ColorPrime technology and a Prime Mastering Engine to offer viewers and advanced viewing experience. The new technology is claimed to provide up to 120 percent higher color reproduction and up to 20 percent increased color spectrum.

In addition, LG has provided its Ultra Luminance technology to enable televisions to auto-adjust brightness by delivering left-over electric currents from dark parts to bright parts.

The entire new range of Super UHD TVs runs on WebOS 2.0 Smart TV interface that has features such as My Channel, Input Picker, Quick Settings and Smart Share. Moreover, the new operating system allows users to save favourite live TV channels or set-top box channels directly to the Launcher to quickly launch them at a press of a button.

LG is offering a Magic Motion Remote Control with the new Super UHD TV range that works as a universal remote to let users control their set-top box, Blu-ray player, sound bar and home theatres without using multiple remotes. It has Point, Click, Wheel and Voice Recognition features and adopts number keys as well.

The new range of Super UHD TVs has 4G LTE technology to offer high-speed data access and there is Harmon/Kardon sound along with Music Catch recording and smart share feature. Besides, there is the company’s 4K 3D+ technology to offer 3D experience on 4K resolution through a battery-free Cinema 3D Glasses.

The LG’s Super UHD TV range is available for purchase through major retail stores across the country.
