LG Optimus G now available online in India for Rs.30,990

LG is yet to launch the Optimus G in the Indian market but the smartphone is now available for purchase in India at an online retail store, Saholic with the featuring price of Rs.30,990. The Optimus G is officially arriving to the country in few days and on the other side, the online retailer is promising the shipment within 6 business days.

LG Optimus G was announced in the last year, the smartphone has quite impressive features but in the fast-moving smartphones market, the company has also announced an upgraded version as the Optimus G Pro few days back. The Optimus G has a 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display with WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution and 16 million color depth. The smartphone comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box and LG has also provided a bundle of features pre-installed within the UI including QSlide, QTranslator, Dual Screen Dual Play, Quick Memo and more.

The Optimus G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 SoC with a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM. For storage, the Optimus G has 32GB (25GB user accessible) non-expandable internal storage. In terms of connectivity, the Optimus G has Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, NFC and a microUSB port which also support USB host connectivity. For photography, the Optimus G has a 13-megapixel camera on the rear along with an LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel camera is available on the front for video conferencing and calling over a 3G network.

As LG is going to launch the Optimus G in the Indian market, the Nexus 4 is seemingly not going to officially hit the stores in the country, at least in the coming weeks. The Nexus 4 smartphone is also manufactured by LG on the identical configuration pattern of the Optimus G and marketed by Google but the company is likely to launch only Optimus G in the Indian market.
