LG Electronics has recently launched a new 19.5-inch PC monitor in the Indian market, modeled as 20EN33TS. With the new monitor of 19.5-inch, the company has entered into a new category in the monitors segment. The new PC monitor 20EN33TS with the price tag of Rs.6,900 enhances the visual experience and provides great value for money to consumers.
On announcing the new PC monitor 20EN33TS, Mr. Sanjoy Bhattacharya, IT Head, LG India said;
“As the demand for large-screen gadgets is the strongest in Asia, LG is delighted to introduce the 19.5 inch 20EN33TS PC Monitor and with it enter into a new category of PC monitors. This is a path breaking move from LG to introduce a new standard in PC monitor size and technology to provide better customer satisfaction. LG hopes to capture 30% market share from the stand-alone monitor market and establish product leadership in the monitor category. This category contributes 50% sales to the over-all PC Monitor segment and now, with the introduction of the 19.5” 20EN33TS, LG aims to increase the category presence to 55%. Our strategy is to up sell from 18.5” screen size to the newly introduced 19.5” screen size.”
The new PC monitor 20EN33TS will replace the existing 18.5-inch (46.99cm) E1942C monitor and feature better specification and consumer benefits. The cost difference of Rs.600 makes the new 20EN33TS a better choice over the earlier E1942C monitor.
The company will have an array of screen sizes including Entry Segment 15.6-inch (39.62 cm) and 19.5-inch (49.53 cm), a Mid Segment 20.1-inch (51.05 cm) and 22-inch (55.88 cm) and a Higher Segment 23-inch (58.42 cm), 24-inch ( 60.96 cm), 27-inch (68.58 cm) and 29-inch (73.66cm).
According to the press statement, LG has introduced the 19.5-inch PC monitor after extensive research. The new lineup of PC monitors has a range of models including 16EN33, 19EN33, 20EN33, 22EN33, 23EA53, 24EN33, 27EA33, 24EA53, 27EA53 and 29EA93. Keeping the Indian consumer sentiments in mind, all these models of on-screen displays would come with a language option of Hindi, which adds another advantage in the products for the Indian market.
