LG is all set for the coming Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2013) and announces new Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup which is going to appear during the event. LG will show some innovative concepts in the new era of television with their Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup for 2013.
On announcing the lineup, Havis Kwon, President and CEO of the LG Home Entertainment Company says;

We have been singularly uncompromising, both in developing and improving the LG Smart TV platform. As a result, we are confident the UX our 2013 models will shatter all expectations and demonstrate that LG has moved the medium of Smart TV forward.”
The new Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup will come with an updated Magic Remote and improved user interface. The all new LG Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup will include plasma models from 42-inch to 60-inch, LCD HDTVs from 22-inch to 60-inch and also include 84-inch Ultra HD and 55-inch OLED TVs.
The new lineup bundled with new and updated innovative concepts as Smart Home and integration of Magic Remote. The new Smart Home come with an onscreen interface featuring ‘My Interest Cards’ which makes a folder for apps and other useful contents. Right from the Smart Home, viewers can take a look at the news sites as well as get weather information on a single screen.
LG these days produces high-end televisions with smartness and added a Magic Remote and the same concept will be continued in the coming year as well, however, the company also make few tweaks in the Magic Remote. The Magic Remote recognises gesture and voice recognition along with point and wheel operations. LG will also show a new feature as Voice Mate which enhances the voice recognition capability of the TVs and makes the system more capable to recognise natural flow of language.
Besides Magic Remote, the upcoming lineup will also feature enhanced SmartShare function which adds an ability to mirror or transfer contents from any smartphones and tablets using WiDi, MHL and Miracast. Moreover, users can even use NFC capabilities of their smartphones using a feature coined as ‘Tag On’. To transfer or mirror contents using Tag On, users have to hold the smartphone or any other NFC capable smart device against the Tag On sticker on a Smart TV.
LG also added a cloud solution for the 2013 Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup as LG Cloud which remotely stream contents. Viewers can also Video-on-Demand (VOD) and live broadcasting right on their TV. The upcoming TV lineup also feature a large number of content options including movie, lifestyle, gaming and 3D choices.
For smart features and smooth operations, such HDTVs need powerful processors and GPUs. LG claims that a number of high-end Cinema 3D Smart TV lineup packed with up to 120 percent faster speed processors and 300 percent faster GPUs for ease in operations and viewing contents.
The 2013 TV lineup by LG will feature thin bezels and come with Magic Stand which come with convenient swivel and roller function. For 3D viewing, LG uses Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology and the company claims that the technology will help in comfortably viewing 3D contents without the distracting flicker or crosstalk of active shutter-style glasses.
