Lexibook soon launch an Aakash like tablet for kids in US

Technology is becoming more and more wide these days, and kids of the Era are seemly Smarter than the seniors, because they are flattering aware of technology. Companies started making gadgets for the kids to make them more aware and friendly with the technology in the beginning of their lives, such a company named as Lexibook, a French company which designs, manufactures, and markets consumer electronic devices and electronic toys, is all set to launch a tablets for kids on September 15 in USA.

Lexibook tablet is almost similar to Datawind’s Aakash in terms of its specs but yes this time tablet appears in USA not in India. Technically, tablet features a 7-inch touch screen, packs with a 600MHz processor, having a storage of 4GB internal memory with expandable microSD card slot, and 256MB RAM. The Tablet is of course based on Android but much older 2.2(Froyo), well, it would work smoothly with the hardware of the tablet. The tablet comes with a price tag of $237(Rs.13K approx.) which seems to be much higher but yes it is made for kids. According to the Lexibook, the tablet comes with Wireless internet browsing through a high-speed built-in Wi-Fi connection and is kept safe through embedded parental control, while kids can still download more than 10,000 must-have apps on the Lexibook Market including Pig Rush, Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Pandora, Skype, and learn while having fun with educational apps adapted to every age group. Overall, the tablet doesn’t have some mind-blowing specs but good for the kids, having one bad thing that it would only appears in US. We just hope that some more companies would also release gadgets for kids for worldwide reach.
