Lenovo P70 with 5″ HD display, 4G LTE goes on pre-order in India for Rs. 15,999
Lenovo has silently launched its P70 smartphone in India to offer a decent mid-range option. The Lenovo P70 is currently available for pre-order in India with a price tag of Rs. 15,999 and will start shipping from April 14.
The Lenovo P70 has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset which has a 1.7GHz true octa-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. There is non-expandable 16GB storage.
Lenovo has provided Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with its proprietary interface on top. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the rear along with an LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera sensor is available on the front.
The Lenovo P70 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and a microUSB port along with USB OTG support. There is dual-SIM support along with 4G LTE support for high-speed data access on quad-band LTE FDD frequency bands.
There is a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge technology. The company claims that the battery pack delivers 46 hours of talk time on a single charge. In addition, the smartphone comes preloaded with power-saving mode and supports OTG charging to let users charge their other mobile devices.
