Lenovo launches new gaming notebooks and table PC in India

Lenovo today launched its new range of gaming notebooks and table PC in India. The new range of gaming devices include Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p, Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 and Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon 27, while the former are the notebooks debut earlier this year, the later one is the first in its kind table PC.

On announcing the new range of gaming notebooks and table PC, Shailendra Katyal, Director- Consumer Business, Lenovo India said;

“We are happy to enter the gaming sphere with a complete portfolio of gaming machines that cater to both individuals and families. Lenovo is fostering its growth in the PC+ era through these multi-media devices that will add a new dimension to our existing portfolio of Consumer products and redefine the concept of gaming in India.”

Starting with the newly launched notebooks, Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p is the superior one in the series. The notebook is powered by a fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor and there is integrated dual-graphics support as NVIDIA SLI along with up to NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2GB dual graphics. For impressive audio, there is speakers supporting Dolby Home Theatre designed by JBL. As the main USP, the notebook has Ultrabay feature which enables instant swapping for dual capability and also claimed to increase the storage space. Lastly, the notebook has backlit Accutype keyboard with individual rounded keys. With the option as Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro, the IdeaPad Y510p is priced at Rs. 69,990.

Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 is especially designed for the budget-conscious multimedia lovers and also there is enhanced gaming support. The notebook has a 15.6-inch display and powered by a fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor. There is an option to add up to 16GB DDR3L RAM for multitasking on-the-go. The notebook features stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theater certification and there is OneKey Recovery support to back up and restore data with an ease. The IdeaPad Z510 comes with a price tag of Rs. 50,990.

Last one in the series is the IdeaCentre Horizon 27, the table PC was originally debut at CES 2013 and claimed to be the winner of over 14 awards at the event. Along with Windows platform, the table PC has Aura interface which allows two or more users to access content, videos, pictures and play games. The PC is powered by a third generation Intel Core i7 processor along with NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M 1GB/2GB graphics support. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theatre V4 certification. The table PC comes with preloaded games and bundled with a wireless mouse and keyboard. The company is also offering optional accessories, including Joystick, Striker and E-dice. With Windows 8 operating system, Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon 27 is priced at Rs. 1,36,500.
