Lenovo launches IdeaTab A2107 tablet in India, featuring 7-inch display

While the tech world is busy at CES, Lenovo launches IdeaTab A2107 tablet in India. The tablet feature a 7-inch display and impressive 8-hours of battery backup. In the releasing statement, Lenovo states that the portable device makes for an ideal device for content consumption and creation on-the-go with equal emphasis on style and performance.

The IdeaTab A2107 tablet 7-inch display uses 1024 x 600 pixels resolution with 350 nits brightness, the display also supports 4-point multi-touch input. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 MediaTek processor with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and there is a 16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, the IdeaTab feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and microUSB support.

The IdeaTab A2107 feature a front as well as a rear camera and there is an internal roll cage which protects the tablet against drop damages. The tablet also feature dual-speakers for decent audio output. The IdeaTab comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system out of the box with Mondrian UI. Lenovo also giving a number of apps for multiple purposes such as for reading, social networking, daily life, work and entertainment pre-installed in the tablet.

Users can of course download more apps according to their tastes and preferences through Google Play Store which comes within the tablet. The Lenovo A2107 tablet is available at all Lenovo exclusive stores, multi-brand outlets and leading retail stores in the country with the price tag of Rs.14,000 (taxes extra).
