Lenovo launches consumer notebooks with 7th gen Intel Core processors

Lenovo today launched its new range of consumer notebooks in India. The new lineup includes the company’s latest Ideapad laptops with seventh-generation Intel Core processors and Windows 10 experience.

First in the series are the Ideapad 710s and 510s for a starting price of Rs. 73,390 and Rs. 51,090, respectively. Both the notebooks have a lightweight design with a metal frame made of aluminium and magnesium. The devices have PCIe solid-state drives and offer quick charging support. Additionally, there is Harman Kardon audio system as well as 1080p IPS display panels.

Lenovo also brought its Ideapad Y700 to deliver an advanced gaming experience at a price of Rs. 1,28,090. The notebook is touted to provide a “desktop-class” experience to gamers with immersive visuals and sound. It has a quad-core processor and discrete graphics. The company is offering its gaming kit with the Ideapad laptop worth Rs. 19,496 for Rs. 2,999. This kit includes an armored backpack, mechanical mouse, gaming mouse and a headset.

Alongside fulfilling gamers’ demand, the new range of Lenovo notebooks includes the Ideapad 310 and 510 multimedia laptop models with Dolby and Harman Kardon sound at Rs. 28,390 and Rs. 40,990, respectively. Both have the latest Intel Core processors and come in a variety of color options. Specifically, the Ideapad 310 is powered by Nvidia graphics to enhance visuals on the screen.

Lenovo also launched its Miix 310 2-in-1 detachable device with a full-HD display, up to 64GB of eMMC storage and 4GB of DDR3L of memory. This device comes with a price tag of Rs. 17,490. Besides, there is the Yoga 510 with a convertible design and fast charging option at Rs. 40,990.

“Today‚Äôs collection has products that were recently launched globally and offer a wide range of form factors and category-first features,” said Bhaskar Choudhuri, director marketing of Lenovo India, in a statement. “Lenovo believes in listening to its consumers to create products that address evolving consumer tastes, and at times also leading them to new form factors.”

Lenovo is giving up to three years of Accidental Damage Protection and three years of additional warranty for free on the purchase of select models. Also, the newest range comes preloaded with McAfee Live Safe Suite.
