Lenovo has launched the K6 Power in India. Originally announced at the IFA in September, the new smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,999.
The Lenovo K6 Power is designed to compete with the Asus Zenfone Max 3. Therefore, it packs a massive, 4,000mAh battery that can last for over 27 days on a single charge. The smartphone is also capable of charging other devices via USB OTG reverse charging technology.
Lenovo has given a 5-inch IPS display on the K9 Power with 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD) resolution. Under the hood, there is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with a 1.4GHz octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded through a microSD card of up to 128GB capacity.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF (phase-detection autofocus) technology and an 8-megapixel front camera sensor. Design-wise, the latest Lenovo K series model has an aluminium unibody build with the aesthetics of the Redmi Note 3. The smartphone also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos integration.
“Our latest offering the Lenovo K6 Power comes with a strong legacy of the successful K-series and is an all-round performer best suited for millennials,” said Sudhin Mathur, executive director, Lenovo Mobile Business Group India, in a statement.
