Lava International is going to enhance their Xolo series smartphones lineup and set to launch Xolo A1000 in the Indian market with 5-inch display and a non-Intel dual-core processor. According to a recent hands-on report by an Indian blog, FoneArena, the company is going to launch Xolo A1000 in the second week of February with the expected price of Rs.12,000 to Rs.15,000.
The all new Xolo A1000 will have 5-inch display within 8mm thin plastic body construction with 70mm width. The smartphone will run on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box and feature an 8-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash and a front camera also available. The Xolo A1000 packed with a 2100mAh battery which will give decent backup.
For cutting the cost, Lava is expected to use an ARM architecture rather than the Intel processors earlier found on the Xolo A900. However, the official words on the Xolo A1000 are yet to be out but we assume that the smartphone will be launched with the competitive price of about Rs.14,000, as Micromax A116 Canvas HD is also going to hit the stores in the coming days with the identical price.
With announcing the Xolo A1000, Lava is all set to take a step into the world of 5-inch smartphones in India. Well, the Xolo A1000 smartphone will lead in the market or fail to impress, it is still a question to be answered later on.
