Lava Twinpad Windows 10 2-in-1 hybrid device launched for Rs. 15,999
Lava International today announced the launch of the Twinpad in India with a price tag of Rs. 15,999. The new Windows 10 running 2-in-1 hybrid device is aimed at students and working professionals.
The Lava Twinpad flaunts a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) resolution. As a 2-in-1 device, it comes with a detachable keyboard and stylus that transforms the 10.1-inch tablet unit into a full-fledged notebook. There is also a bidirectional screen support to let users attach the display panel either from the front or from the back.
Under the hood, the Twinpad has an Intel Atom chipset with a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD card of up to 64GB.
The device has a SIM card slot to enable 3G support on the go. Also, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and two microUSB ports.
Lava has provided Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system on the Twinpad with a few of pre-installed apps. Besides, the device sports a 2-megapixel rear and front camera sensors and packs a 7,400mAh battery.

The Lava Twinpad will be available with silver color option through various national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and ecommerce websites in the country. It will compete against Micromax Canvas Laptab and Asus EeeBook.
