In a conversation with TechOne3, Hari Om Rai, Managing Director of Lava International, said that the Pixel V1 Android One smartphone will be soon be manufactured in India under the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

“Although the initial lot of the Pixel V1 will be shipped from a facility in China, it will soon be manufactured in India. The company would start its manufacturing at its Noida facility in the coming future,” Hari said.

Considering its specifications, the Pixel V1 is quite improved from the initial range of Android One smartphones that was launched by Google in partnership with Karbonn, Micromax and Spice.
