Lava International has announced the launch of the P7 in India. The new smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 and sports a front-facing selfie camera sensor with an LED flash.
The Lava P7 features a 5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
Lava has provided Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system on the P7. Also, the smartphone is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is Google Indic keyboard with up to 12 Indian languages support within Android Lollipop environment.
The smartphone has a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor along with dual-LED flash in addition to the 2-megapixel camera sensor on the front. Further, there is dual-SIM support with dual-standby technology and 3G access and connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microUSB port. It packs a 2,000mAh battery that would deliver at least a day backup on a single charge.
