Lava International has expanded its Iris Fuel lineup with launching the Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Lava Iris Fuel 25. Both the new smartphones pack 3,000mAh battery packs and come with Airtel bundled prepaid 500MB 3G data pack for two months.
The Lava Iris Fuel 10 comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,541 while the Iris Fuel 25 is available for Rs. 5,666. Both the smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and come along with Flip Cover.
In new Lava Iris Fuel series, the Iris Fuel 10 is the superior one with offering a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The display panel has Oncell touch technology to provide users better touch functionality. Besides, there is 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage along with microSD card support for expansion up to 32GB.
The Lava Iris Fuel 10 sports a 5-megapixel BSI+ camera sensor on the rear along with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera sensor is available on the front. There is a dedicated selfie button and also a voice controlled image capture functionality to let users simply capture their selfies on the go.
The Lava Iris Fuel 25, on the other hand, has a 5-inch TFT display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB expandable storage. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor and a VGA front camera sensor.
Both the new smartphones have Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port on the connectivity front and have dual-SIM support. There is a Li-Polymer battery for which the company claims that it is “much more secure” compared to commonly available Li-Ion battery packs.
Particularly on the Iris Fuel 10, the 3,000mAh battery is claimed to deliver up to 14 hours of continuous 3G talk time, six and a half hours of video playback and 60 hours of music playback.
The Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25 are already available in India through all major retail stores and online marketplaces.
