Lava International has launched two new affordable smartphones in India, coined as Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402. Both the smartphones are designed for the entry-level 3G smartphones segment and these smartphones are running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box. Lava 3G 356 comes at a price tag of Rs.4,499 and Lava 3G 402 is priced at Rs.5,499.
On launching Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402, Mr. Hari Om Rai, Co-Founder & Director, Lava International Ltd., said;

Both the smartphones, Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402 are having MediaTek MT6572 chipset with dual-core Cortex-A7 CPU, Mali-400 GPU and 256MB of RAM. For storing contents, both the smartphones have 512MB ROM along with microSD card support for expansion up to 32GB. Being cheap Indian smartphones, there is dual-SIM support available within both the smartphones along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port.
Lava 3G 356 has a 3.5-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels (HVGA) resolution. There is a 1.3-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and a VGA camera is available on the front. On the other hand, Lava 3G 402 has a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) resolution. There is a 3-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and a 1.3-megapixel camera sensor is available on the front.
Both the smartphones pack with 1500mAh battery and bundled with screen guard and silicon soft pouch. The company is providing multiple color options including white, grey, red and black for both the smartphones.
